| The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, (the LDS Church
or the Mormons.) recently opened public access to the largest genealogy
data base in the world.  It is called Family
Search.  The LDS Church has over 2
1/2  billion names in their data bases, with several
million names now in the searchable internet data base and more
being added as time and resources permit.  Many of these names
are linked to other family members making it easier to connect families
together.  Please use your own resources to verify the information
you receive.  The information contained in the data base was
submitted by individuals and is only as accurate as the submitter.
There are avenues to correct inaccurate information.
Please use this resource.  It is the best
              and largest in the world.

 There is also the Family
Search Catalog, a complete listing of all the millions
of records in the Family History Library, including; books, microfilm
and microfiche.  These are the records which have been filmed
or collected from all over the world over the past 150 years by
            the LDS Church.
