Oberdorfelden is about 8 miles northwest of Wachenbuchen. It is a larger town than Wachenbuchen with shops and businesses. The country side is rolling hills with stands of trees that separate well cultivated fields.
The Lutheran Church in Oberdorfelden. This is where Andreas Meffert was married and lived before he came to America. It is also the place where his son, John Meffert was born and christened. The streets are very narrow and this was the only practical photo I was able to take.
